Have you seen this plant?

Himalyan Balsam is an invasive non-native plant. It is a major weed problem, especially on riverbanks and waste ground. It grows rapidly and spreads quickly, smothering other vegetation as it goes. See https://www.rhs.org.uk/weeds/himalayan-balsam for further information.

It has been found in Lowertown near the river. If you spot any please pull or dig the plant out by its roots and inform the Community Group via email or the WhatsApp group. Thank you.
