Wildlife

The pictures below have been submitted by Nicholas Kenlay taken from his garden. He tells me it’s his son, who is now 18, with the slow worm on his hand. His son has given his permission for the image to be posted here. Thank you Nick for submitting these well-observed wildlife pictures.

Here is the latest submission from Nick. A beautiful piece of footage of a hummingbird hawk moth.

Deer spotted near to where leat crosses the Trannack road. Never seen a deer here in three years. But perhaps not looking carefully enough?

    • Thanks for the info – have added it to the site. Adam in Hammerfield House also tells me that about six months ago they had been seen in the valley. They have also been spotted on the West Penwith Moors the first time for at least 60 years near Zennor and Morvah. Carrie
